The Joy of Spring Event
After an extremely successful ‘Joy of Christmas’ event in 2018, I was persuaded by my lovely stall holders to look into hosting another event this year. So the ‘Joy of Spring’ was born, which worked beautifully with my branding, the stunning location of Sir John Moore School and the overall Brocante feel that I wanted to achieve.
After weeks of torrential rain, we were truly blessed on the day with glorious sunshine which made everything simply perfect for stall holders and visitors alike.
There were over 40 stall holders, travelling from as far as The Cotswolds and Sussex, exhibiting with their completely bespoke and unique creations, some of which had not been seen within the Midlands to date.
To complete the outside look, we were so pleased to collaborate with Sami Tipi and, together with the amazing styling skills of Klara from Birds in the Attic, the entire grounds were transformed into a real country lifestyle event.
A week leading up to the day I was saying that I would never do this again, I won’t lie - it is such hard work and with the weather worry thrown in too I did have a few sleepless nights - however, I had such amazing support from my lovely stall holders, customers, friends and family - and I ended up thoroughly enjoying the day itself - I just wished I could have shopped more!! so - all I would say is, watch this space!
